A member of Spirit of Life UU Church in Odessa, Florida, where he has chaired the Sanctuary Committee and served on the Program Committee, Terry earned his BS in Mass Communication from Syracuse University.
He has enjoyed a distinguished 40-year career spanning corporate and marketing communication, public relations, television news, trade shows and events, general management, sales, and Internet media.
Terry has worked in the profit and nonprofit arenas with GE, MCI, Clark Equipment, the Swedish-based Sandvik Group, Westminster Communities of Florida, and Bird Corporation. Terry founded Lanning Communications in 1991 to serve the marketing and corporate communication needs of small to medium sized businesses.
